I am back and I am motivated! April will be here before we know it and as I've said to a few GF's..I refuse to be a beluga whale at Disney.
2011 has been deemed the year of unbroken promises. I am so done with letting myself down.
Now time to recap...so yeah December wasn't the best month for me... completely fell off the wagon...and smacked my head as I hit the ground! Yes it was that bad...
BUT I somehow managed not to gain - that in itself is a small miracle...between the chocolate and the cookies and the CHOCOLATE that made its way into my house and inevitably into my mouth I really don't know how its possible that when I stepped on the scale yesterday I hadn't gained weight!
And so here I am on January 11, 2011 (gotta love this date, all 1's) starting anew.
A friend of mine turned me onto to
Sparkpeople.com and its very similar to Diet Power which I have mentioned before, except its on the web which is nice because then I can add to it, look at it and review it wherever I am. This is extremely handy considering I sit in front of a computer everyday...all day.
Oh and my friend Kristen and I have started the
C25K.com program...its our first week but so far (despite the chilly temps) I am really enjoying it! I have always wanted to be a runner and I am so grateful to be going on this journey with her.
